Recollection
- Wan freaked out about kissing Maewnam and decides to fake passing out to cope with that, but Maewnam didn't buy it, so HAH
- The new hire, Professor Mahnmook, is now an enemy of Chom and Tonnam because she's cold and blunt and also discovered their secret relationship
- Beautician Lady is onto Wan and Maewan's chemistry
- Professor Mahnmook is now also our enemy because of her special interest and treatment towards Maewnam
- Maewnam is still a massive flirt (never change)
- Maewnam and Wan celebrate Songkran together!!!
- Chom's mom interrupts her and Tonnam trying to have a romantic afternoon which cancels their plans and hurts Tonnam
- Chom seemed like she was going to finally tell her mother...and then lied at the last minute which hurt Tonnam again
- Maewnam helps Wan reconnect with Uncle Lee which went...okay-ish
- Wan confirms that she likes Maewnam too, but isn't ready to say they're dating yet; She's gonna score Maewnam's methods of wooing her until she gets a "perfect" score
- The looming threat of Mouse Mart grows
T/N: Right off the bat, I wanna disclose that I am not Thai and thus I don't know the cultural background behind the whole Songkran white-power upset in this episode. I've done some cursory research on the internet, but I absolutely do not feel like I'm in the position to comment on it, so I won't be.
I am so thankful that Whale Store wrapped up the whole "do I say something" arc in one episode! First off, Maewnam isn't an idiot, so I wouldn't believe her buying it. Second off, I have a tendency to get really frustrated when nothing-burger tensions like this get strung along. I'm utterly curious about how Wan's scoring system is going to work and just what Maewnam will do to get that perfect score. If what she's been doing up until now hasn't been her utmost effort...just what does that even look like?
Mahnmook, you are a stunning woman. However, I have absolutely no trust in your character. Option A) You could just be a misunderstood red-herring. Option Else) You are somehow going to meddle and harm the lives of Wan, Maewnam, Tonnam, and Chom. Naturally, I'm assuming you're an "Option Else" character, so I have my eyes on you.
To Chom and Tonnam, agggghhh, must you pain be like this??? Chom, babe, please. I know that you're concerned of your mother's reactions and all the traumatic baggage that comes with it, but please; Tonnam is getting more and more heartbroken by your actions every second. There is no way you're actually believing her when she say's "I'm not mad" in such an obviously upset tone??? Tonnam, I hate ultimatums too. But love, you have to put your foot down here. You both love each other and make each other happy, but this problem is a festering pressure cooker and some day soon that pot's going to burst. It's a tale as old as time that when that happens, you won't be able to control what you say, think, feel, or do. I'm really rooting for you two, so please, please, please fix this and fix it soon. To Ms. Beautician, please, please, please let your daughter have the wrong idea about you.
Mouse Mart and Maewnam's mom are increasing their relevance to the story again and it's really putting me on edge. On one side, Maewnam isn't spearheading the project or anything but on the other side it is literally her family that's involved, marketing, and funding the chain. This is going to suck when it all boils over, I just know it.
