Episode 4
Recollection
- Kuuga and Unidentified Life Form #5 escape from the police shootout, but ULF#5 suffers from a shot to the eye
- Detective Ichijou is suffering from his broken ribs by lying about being okay
- ULF#5 attacks people again, but escapes
- Godai (Kuuga) almost gets in trouble with the cops for trying to chase after ULF#5 as a civilian, but the detective fake arrests him to cover
- Godai/Kuuga is given the "TryChaser 2000" (the fancy motorcycle) by Detective Ichijou (he's got his fancy motorcycle now!)
- Kuuga and ULF#5 fight in a construction site/parking garage and Kuuga wins
- Detective Ichijou gives Kuuga a thumbs up back!
First off, dang ULF#5.
"There are 23 officers down, 11 cars immobilized, and 8 cases of property destruction."
You managed to injure that many people with ONLY 8 cases of property destruction??? That's certainly a skill. If I knew what you were saying, I'd compliment you on your commitment to workplace safety! You did explode and die at the end though...
Regarding the TryChaser 2000, it's no Hardboiler from my beloved Kamen Rider W, but it's got some charm of it's own. I do think it's funny that they took out the grip and put it in an arms case as if it's a secret weapon...but kept that case in the same room as the bike. Sure, the bike has a combination lock on it, but surely someone could just try enough times or cross the wires? The case didn't even have a lock on it, so it's not like it was actually secure. It was just a delay to running the bike if anything. But hey, that bike seems super easy to off-rode with and whip around! He was jumping on cars and everything with it. Very cool, very cool.
I wonder how the concern over Godai transforming is going to evolve as the series goes on. He's taken up the Kuuga mantle pretty quickly, so will there be an adjustment period or is he truly just that satisfied in his position?
That all being said, Godai, sir, even if she is your friend...maybe give some sort of heads up that you're going to sneak in her window and crash on her floor? A sign on the door? A phone call to her house? I'd kick you too if you startled me like that.
Sorry that this post is so short, by the way. This episode just didn't really have too to get into. Aside from whatever the heck is going on with the big bads and their outfits. Feather Boa Lady, you're still my favourite.
Episode 5 Preview
Ahh, okay, so we are getting further into his thing with the "Kuuga" title. Don't love the detective promising to kill him as a backup plan, but, not much choice is there? Since they have the bullet and blood from ULF#5, I wonder if they'll analyze it and compare it to Kuuga's...
Thanks for Reading!
I hope you've been able to watch and enjoy the story for yourself! If you haven't, that's okay too! My thoughts are here to keep you updated and entertained in the meantime.
This caps off this post, so off into the nighttime I go to publish the next one shortly!
May we meet again at Midnight!
