Regarding Tokusatsu Thursday...(again) & The First Midnight Series for September {Taffy Tuesday #4}

My name is Taffryne, shoppekeeper of Midnight on Memory Lane, and it is my absolute delight to welcome you to this week's gathering of Manga Monday!

As the title of this post says, tonight we're going to be talking about yet another change to Tokusatsu Thursday's programming alongside what the the first Midnight Series post for September will be.
T/N: Yes, I have changed the blog naming scheme to have the {} part last. I think it makes it easier to find posts that way!
Tokusatsu Thursday Alteration
Sooo...I've made some decisions.
For starters, I've decided to migrate the "already aired" series portion of Tokusatsu Thursday to a secondary blog. I was looking at how the schedule for everything turns out once Kamen Rider MY-TH joins the mix and it's just a bit too clustered for my liking. Also, the mass dropping of posts that cover 5-10 episodes were comically long and sluggish to get through, even for me (and I've read 20+ chapters of a single fanfic straight...). Honestly, imagine the Manga Monday posts, but instead of having breathing room between each chapter it's just an onslaught of "AND THEN!!!".
That being said, I didn't want to abandon the Kamen Rider and Pretty Cure Rewatch Project; hence the whole "secondary blog" thing. The schedule for that blog will be 1-2 episodes of each show published daily. That way they're spaced out enough to not be congested while still not making each previous series take a whole year to cover (I would still like to be caught-up in less than 3 years if possible!). To conclude, keep an eye out for the link to the new blog in the Tokusatsu Thursday post this week!
Since the older Kamen Rider and Pretty Cure series will be moved to the secondary blog, Tokusatsu Thursday here at Midnight on Memory Lane will be purely the currently airing series of the two. For Kamen Rider, we'll have Kamen Rider MY-TH posts starting on September 10 (pre-airing hype-post will be this week!). For Pretty Cure, those'll kick up after Star Detective ends sometime in early 2027.
I hope these changes are alright with you all. I just really, really didn't want to bog anyone down or overcomplicate things.
September's First Post of The Midnight Series
For the first post of The Midnight Series, we'll be venturing into the Midnight Concert Hall to discuss two recent vinyl LP's that I've acquired: Em Beihold's "Egg in the Backseat" and "Tales of a Failed Shapeshifter"! I procured them a little bit ago and I'm super excited to share my thoughts on the album art, inserts, pressing, and (of course) the songs themselves!
While I can curate many different forms of musical playback for my clients depending on their life experiences, I myself am partial to vinyl for the "ritual" of it, so to speak. Picking out my favourite pressing colours, looking at the inserts, that satisfactory mechanical click of the record player starting to spin...
I'm really, really eager to welcome you all into some of the spaces here at Midnght on Memory Lane; I hope you all are intrigued as well!
Upcoming Guestbooks and Email Avenues
Alongside our first venture into my interests, the next post for Taffy Tuesday will also come with the launch of my Guestbook and some emails for you all to finally use! I think I've just about got my head wrapped around implementing those, so please stay tuned! Obviously, there will be absolutely no pressure if you'd rather be a lurker in the back shelves! I'm quite the lurker myself (especially in livestreams). I'm just looking forward to have the option for those who wish to leave a more vocal mark on this blog's memory!
