As the title of this post says, we're going to be talking about the seventh episode of the Japanese BL-drama based on the manga of the same name, I Cannot Reach You.

Episode 7
Recollection
- Ohara and Kakeru now have uncomfortable tension because of what happened at Kakeru's place last time
- Kakeru ends up in front of Ohara's place, chickens out of asking him out to the festival, but then joins Ohara's Sister to go to the festival (she gives him a pep talk)
- Ohara ends up following them to the festival
- Ohara keeps trying to have The Apology Talk™ with Kakeru but they keep getting interrupted both in and out of school
- Hosaka is once again the voice of reason third for these two
- Ohara finally apologizes to Kakeru, Kakeru is finally honest about the stuff between them, and the two are now at a level of understanding and peace as they figure it out
- Kakeru got a 70 on a test!!!
- KAKERU REFUSES TO BE THE MIDDLEMAN FOR ANOTHER GIRLS CONFESSION!!!
- Kakeru gives Ohara sweets on "Sakisaka Day" before Christmas (as is school tradition, but he forgot to confess)
- Ohara gives Kakeru handmade sweets which they eat together
- Kakeru admits to himself that he likes Ohara!!!
- A RAINSTORM AND SUBSEQUENT COLD INTERRUPTED KAKERU'S CONFESSION
- Ohara's going for another sleeping beauty kiss while Kakeru is faking being asleep
Oharaaaaaaa. We talked about this!!! Stop kissing non-consenting people!!! ALSO HE'S SICK! DO YOU WANNA BE SICK TOO??? But, hey, thanks for apologizing. Not everyone does, unfortunately, but you did and that counts for brownie points.
Kakeruuuuu! I'm so proud of youuuuuu!!! Not only did you boost your grade all the way to a 70 (wow, omg, no makeup sheet 4 u!!!), but you also refused to be the messenger for a girl's confession to Ohara! That's major character development, my boy! I'm glad you're also being honest with yourself about how you feel. Go get your boyfriend!
Hosaka, I wonder, do you ever get tired of being the couples therapist for these two? Or perhaps, do you enjoy it? I think it might honestly be more of the later because of how you tease them both.
We've gotten the angst done. We've gotten the apology done. We are now being lead on into the final episode for the confession. May these boys please just find happiness together???
