Announcing the Guestbook, Email, and Newsletter! {Taffy Tuesday #6}
Hello, Internet, and good mornight to you all!
My name is Taffryne, shoppekeeper of Midnight on Memory Lane, and it is my absolute delight to welcome you to this week's gathering of Taffy Tuesday!

As the title of this post says, tonight I am finally announcing the establishment of and launching the Guestbook, Email, and Newsletter for this blog!!!
I've also got some sneak peaks at other future developments...
Guestbook
After much debate, debacle, and design-anguish, the Guestbook for Midnight on Memory Lane is officially ready for publications!
I cannot tell you which was harder: fighting with the Office of Cautions and Censorships about deadlines or getting the colour scheme to not be offensive. Either way, it was worth it!
I'm incredibly excited to start hearing your voices come from the void, Dear Readers of the Internet! I look forward to screaming back at you all as well~

Momento Mail (Email)
In addition to the Guestbook, I have established a (hopefully) functioning email address for you all to use! Everything from compliments or constructive critiques, recommendations or warnings, and typo or mistake reports are welcome within the inbox!
Depending on how this email thing goes, I might even introduce a new type of blog post in the future where I can feature certain email snippets for discussion! Maybe a sort of "community look-back" once we finish a series together or themed Q&A posts?
Midnight Memo Newsletter
Starting on September 26, there will be a newsletter sent out to email subscribers at midnight every Saturday, "The Midnight Memo". This newsletter will primarily cover things like monthly previews or weekly schedule (what series, which posts when, etc) and blog maintenance updates (typo-fixes, new features, etc).
However, there will also be some fun tidbits in there ranging from quick bits about the things I'm reading/watching off-blog, stories from the shoppe, things I'd love to recommend to you all, or random thoughts for us to connect over!
The format is absolutely subject to change based on your feedback, but I hope that sort of variety is welcomed by you all!
Sneak Peak: RSS Feeds, Tags, and Blog Organization
Now that I finally have the communication lines laid, my next project to improve this blog will be doing an organizational overhaul of the blog.
Over this past month and some change that I've been posting, you might have noticed a lot of sudden shifts and changes across the blog. Honestly, I've gone through and made adjustments to everything from the title formats and blog pacing to tweaking the home page every so slightly every few days. That's also how some of you might have noticed more egregious copy/paste typos on certain posts...
I think I've got my bearings now, at least I hope I do! So, before Spooky Month comes to get us, I'll be spending the next two weeks of my free time in the Office of Retcons and Redactions to fix those errors and reformat all of the posts to be consistent. In that time, I'll also be implementing the tagging system onto posts! That way, anyone who's only invested in specific blogs (be it the day of the week or subject matter) can freely use their RSS feeds for alerts and updates.
I hope that'll help spruce up this little slice of the internet!
